KLUST offers a range of tuition waivers, scholarships, and promotions for students enrolling in the March / April, June / July, and November / December intakes.
Tuition Waiver / Scholarship
1. Star Teenagers Student Excellence Tuition Waiver / Scholarship
Applicable for: Foundation, Diploma, Degree
Application Pre-requisites
- SPM: 7As and above
- IGCSE O-Level: 5As and above
- STPM: 3Bs
- A-Level: AAB or above
- UEC: Not more than 15 aggregate points in any 5 subjects
Deduction Scheme
- Foundation Tuition Waiver: RM9,000
- Diploma Tuition Waiver: RM15,000
- Degree Tuition Waiver: RM30,000
Conditions for Renewal
During the Foundation / Diploma / Degree programme:
- Maintain CGPA 3.00 and above
- Minimum 80% attendance
- Students are required to complete the minimum credit requirements each semester
2. Star Teenagers Free Foundation Tuition Waiver / Scholarship
Applicable for: Foundation
Application Pre-requisites
- Meet entry requirements for Foundation in Arts (FIA) / Foundation in Science (FIS)
Deduction Scheme
- Full tuition waiver for 1-year Foundation programme
3. Principal Recommended Star Teenagers Tuition Waiver / Scholarship
Applicable for: Diploma, Degree
Application Pre-requisites
- Recommended by school principals or vice principals
Deduction Scheme
- Diploma Tuition Waiver: RM15,000
- Degree Tuition Waiver: RM30,000
Conditions for Renewal
During the Diploma / Degree programme:
- Maintain CGPA 2.75 and above
- Minimum 80% attendance
- Students are required to complete the minimum credit requirements each semester.

4. New Student RM3,000 Rebate
Applicable for: Foundation, Diploma, Degree

Deduction Scheme
- Tuition Waiver: RM3,000
5. Tuition Waiver for Students with 1A to 6As
Applicable for: Foundation, Diploma, Degree
Application Pre-requisites
- Students who achieve 1A–6As are eligible for a specified amount of tuition fee reduction

Diploma
- 5–6 As: RM4,500
- 3–4 As: RM4,000
- 1–2 As: RM3,500
Degree
- UEC 2–3 As: RM4,500
- UEC 1 A: RM4,000
- STPM CGPA 3.50–3.74: RM4,500
- STPM CGPA 3.00–3.49: RM4,000
- A-Level ABB: RM4,500
6. 10% Discount for Siblings / Children of School Teachers / Children of Government Servants
Applicable for: Foundation, Diploma, Degree
Application Pre-requisites
- Children of local teachers and staff from secondary schools (including SMK, SMJK, private schools, international schools) and Chinese primary schools in Malaysia.
- Children of Government Servants in Malaysia
- Siblings enrolling together (at least two) / Current KLUST students / Graduates of KLUST
Deduction Scheme
- 10% tuition fee reduction per semester
7. April Intake Special: Exclusive Accommodation Promotion for East Malaysia & Selected States Students
Applicable for: Foundation, Diploma, Degree
Application Pre-requisites
- Students from Sabah, Sarawak, Kelantan, Terengganu, Perlis
Deduction Scheme
- Free hostel fee for first semester
Foundation to Degree Diploma to Degree Scholarship / Promotion
8. Progressing Student Tuition Waiver (Foundation / Diploma to Degree)
Applicable for: Degree
Application Pre-requisites
- KLUST or other institutions’ Foundation/Diploma graduates
- Graduation CGPA: 3.50 – 4.00
Deduction Scheme
- Degree Tuition Waiver 50%
Conditions
During the Degree programme:
- Students who maintain a CGPA 3.75 of or above each semester will automatically continue to enjoy tuition fee reduction.
- Average attendance must be 80% or above.
- Students are required to complete the minimum credit requirements each semester.
9. Progressing Student Discount (Foundation / Diploma to Degree)
Applicable for: Degree
Application Pre-requisites
- KLUST or other institutions’ Foundation/Diploma graduates
- Graduation CGPA: 3.00 – 3.49
Deduction Scheme
- RM5,000 tuition waiver
