“I was determined to take Civil Engineering due to the influence of my father. He is a Civil Engineer and he used to take me on site visits during my younger days. It triggered my interest to learn more about this field. I got to know about IUKL Sports Excellence Scholarship from the Induction programme. I applied and went for the interview. I got a 50% IUKL Sports Excellence Scholarship for my involvement in rugby as I represented the Penang State, back then. I got the scholarship for both my diploma and degree programme. As for now, I’m playing for the Bangi Hunters Rugby Club as well as IUKL Tractor Club. My biggest achievement in rugby is when I was selected for the National 7 team.”
