On 2nd June 2017, delegates from the Ministry of Education (MoE), Bhutan visited IUKL.
The delegates were the Chief Programme Officers of the Scholarship and Student Support Division, Mr. Baburam Sherpa and Mr. Dolay Tshering, and Mr. Nar Bahadru Raika, the Senior Programme Officer of the Quality Assurance and Accreditation Division, Department of Adult and Higher Education.
The objective of the meeting was to introduce the programmes offered by IUKL for them to consider for scholarship, to discuss the academic performance of their sponsored students, and to update the MoE of Bhutan on the latest developments on campus.
Mr. Baburam Sherpa presented a token of appreciation to the Deputy Vice Chancellor, Academic and Research of IUKL, Prof. Dr. Ideris Zakaria.
The visit concluded with a group photo of the delegates with the management team of IUKL.
