On 26 April 2025, SMK Dato Abu Bakar Baginda successfully held the Pembimbing Rakan Sebaya (PRS) Leadership Course at Block 11, KLUST. The programme was conducted in collaboration with Marcom and the Centre for Foundation and General Studies (CFGS), bringing together students, teachers, practical trainees, and alumni in a meaningful leadership development initiative. The course aimed to strengthen the leadership potential of PRS students by focusing on emotional intelligence, communication skills, and effective teamwork. Participants were actively engaged through interactive modules, group simulations, and experience-sharing sessions led by trained facilitators.

The presence of dedicated school teachers, Puan Alina, Puan Arifah, and Puan Nazatul Shila, alongside two committed practical teachers, added great value to the programme. Their guidance and support throughout the day ensured a smooth and impactful experience for all involved. The event also welcomed alumni of SMK Dato Abu Bakar Baginda, who returned to contribute by sharing their journeys and inspiring the current generation of student leaders. Students thoroughly enjoyed the activities and were eager to apply the leadership values gained. This successful collaboration between the school, external partners, and alumni created a dynamic and empowering space for youth leadership development.
