On 22 May 2026, Chairman of Star Teenagers International Group and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kuala Lumpur University of Science and Technology (KLUST), Chen Xiaoyun, led a delegation to visit Anhui Radio Film & TV Media Industry Group for an exchange session and cooperation discussion, followed by the launch ceremony of the short drama Shining Nanyang. The delegation was received by Miao Feng, Deputy Party Secretary, Director and General Manager of Anhui Radio Film & TV Media Industry Group; Wang Liusheng, Deputy Party Secretary and Director; Yu Yong, Member of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Labour Union; together with representatives from Ziyun Media. Renowned Chinese writer and Vice Chairman of the Anhui Federation of Literary and Art Circles, Xu Chunqiao, attended the event as a special guest. Representatives from Anhui Lvhai Vocational College of Business, KLUST China Region, and related departments also participated in the visit and discussion.
During the meeting, both parties held productive discussions on strengthening university-industry collaboration, promoting international cultural exchange, and jointly producing the short drama Shining Nanyang. The engagement further strengthened the partnership foundation between KLUST and Anhui Radio Film & TV Media Industry Group, while creating new opportunities in talent development, industry collaboration, and international education initiatives.
Miao Feng shared Anhui Radio Film & TV Media Industry Group’s recent developments in media transformation, content production, integrated e-commerce, industry collaboration, and international cultural communication. He highlighted the positive outcomes achieved through previous collaborations with Anhui Lvhai Vocational College of Business and expressed the Group’s commitment to further expanding cooperation with KLUST in areas such as cultural production, artificial intelligence applications, and international communication.

Chairman Chen Xiaoyun expressed appreciation for the warm reception and reaffirmed his support for the collaborative university-industry programmes established between both parties. During the visit to the internship and training facilities, he commended the creativity and professionalism demonstrated by students involved in AIGC-related media projects.

Xu Chunqiao highly praised the concept and social significance of Shining Nanyang, noting that the drama reflects the real-life experiences of Anhui students pursuing education in Malaysia and returning to China for entrepreneurial development. He added that the production carries strong regional identity, emotional depth, and positive values, making it a meaningful project for cultural exchange and international communication.
Following the discussion session, representatives from both sides attended the official launch ceremony of Shining Nanyang and viewed a showcase of university-industry collaboration achievements jointly developed by Anhui Radio Film & TV Media Industry Group and Anhui Lvhai Vocational College of Business.


Prior to the meeting, the delegation visited the integrated media hall and university-industry training facilities at Anhui Radio Film & TV Media Industry Group to learn more about the Group’s developments in content production, technology innovation, and media operations. At the collaborative training base established with Anhui Lvhai Vocational College of Business, students from the School of Digital Commerce and Livestreaming showcased several AIGC animation projects, which received positive feedback from representatives of Anhui Radio Film & TV Media Industry Group and the visiting delegation.


In recent years, institutions under Star Teenagers International Group have continued strengthening industry-based education through close collaboration with Anhui Radio Film & TV Media Industry Group, providing students with hands-on training opportunities in AIGC media production and digital content development. Several student-participated AIGC animation projects have successfully been released on major Chinese digital platforms, including Youku and Sohu, reflecting the effectiveness of the Group’s industry-oriented education approach. Moving forward, both parties will continue deepening cooperation in talent development, industry collaboration, and cultural exchange.
