ABOUT THIS PROGRAMME

The transferable skills that graduate have acquired during the degree course, gives opportunities for graduates to employed in diverse and interesting range of activities outside construction management to complement the industry. With the rising urban population, opportunities for construction management graduates should be available in years to come. Graduates of Construction Management programme are highly sought after as project managers, site managers, construction managers, project co-ordinators and development managers and can command good salaries and career prospects. Construction management is the science and art of procuring and directing human and physical resources for the successful and prudent realization of a construction project, ensuring that the enterprise meets the desires of the client, the requirements of the budget, and the quality of the specification. Construction manager’s co-ordinate the construction of a variety of building projects. They are involved in all stages of the construction and are responsible for the people and materials needed for the project.   • A-Level: Minimum 2 principal passes (including Mathematics)
  • UEC: Minimum 5 Bs (including Mathematics)
  • Diploma / HND: Minimum CGPA 2.00
  • Foundation: Minimum CGPA 2.00
  • SAM / HSC / AUSMAT: Minimum average 60% in 5 subjects (including Mathematics)
  • CPU / CIMP: Minimum average 55% in 6 subjects (including Mathematics)
  • Other Qualifications: Recognised as equivalent to STPM by KLUST Senate
