Kuala Lumpur University of Science and Technology (KLUST) hosted a delegation from the Anhui Education Development Foundation on 27 August 2026, creating an opportunity for both sides to exchange perspectives and explore potential areas of collaboration in education and academic development.
Led by Mr. Jiang Chuandong, Secretary-General of the Anhui Education Development Foundation, the delegation included representatives from the Foundation and educators from several schools in Anhui, China. The engagement went beyond a formal institutional visit, providing a platform for both sides to discuss how educational institutions can build stronger cross-border connections and develop opportunities that support students, educators, and the wider education ecosystem.

Among the key areas discussed were technology and intelligent manufacturing, international education collaboration, study and educational exchange, faculty development, and industry-academia cooperation. The discussions also explored opportunities for young educators from China to pursue further study in Malaysia, alongside possibilities for faculty exchange and collaborative initiatives. The visit also brought together representatives from KLUST’s leadership, the Faculty of Engineering, Science & Technology, the China Operations Office, and the Board of Directors Office, reflecting the university’s interest in developing collaboration across multiple areas of education and institutional development. The visit concluded with a commitment to explore the areas discussed and identify potential directions for further cooperation.
