The Kuala Lumpur University of Science and Technology (KLUST) marked a significant milestone in its ongoing rebranding journey today with a ceremonial installation held at the university’s historic old archway. The event was graced by Prof. Chen Xiaoyun, Chairman of KLUST; Prof. Ts. Dr. David Ngo Chek Ling, President and Vice-Chancellor; along with the Deputy Vice Chancellors, Registrar, deans, and heads of departments.
At 11.00 a.m., members of the university community gathered to witness the installation of two symbolic statues designed as part of KLUST’s campus enhancement and decorative efforts. These statues represent the values of auspice, unity, and enlightenment—serving as a visual reminder of the new breath of life and fresh direction the KLUST community is embracing.
The atmosphere was festive as firecrackers were set off around the archway, adding colour and excitement to the celebration.

The ceremony concluded with a group photo featuring the leadership team and attendees, capturing the spirit of togetherness that the installation embodies.

This moment marks an important chapter in KLUST’s rebranding efforts—honouring its heritage while stepping confidently into a future shaped by innovation, resilience, and a stronger sense of community.
