
Today (11 August 2025) Kuala Lumpur University of Science and Technology (KLUST) welcomed the delegation from Pukyong National University (PKNU), South Korea, and the Marine Designeering Education Research Group (BK21 MADEC).
Professor Ts. Dr. David Ngo Chek Ling, President and Vice-Chancellor of KLUST, shared the university’s vision, growth direction, and commitment to impactful international collaborations followed by a presentation on KLUST’s Landscape Architecture programme by Mr. Rizal Husin, Dean of the Faculty of Architecture and Built Environment (FABE).


In the Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) signing ceremony, PKNU, BK21 MADEC and KLUST formalised a partnership for joint initiatives, student and staff exchanges, and collaborative projects. The MoU affirms a shared commitment to scientific and cultural exchanges in global design fields, including innovative marine design.
The visit concluded with a tour of the KLUST campus, including the FABE Gallery and a showcase of students’ work, highlighting the creativity and talent nurtured at the university. KLUST thanks the Faculty of Architecture and Built Environment team for hosting and curating the programme, ensuring a warm welcome and meaningful exchange.
This event reflects KLUST’s ambition to be a hub for international collaboration and marks the start of a long-term partnership benefiting students, researchers, and the wider academic community.
