From 19th to 25th August 2024, we had the pleasure of hosting an incredible group of students from Guilin University of Electronic Technology (GUET), China, for a 7-day journey filled with learning, cultural exchange, and new friendships!
GUET students were deeply engaged with Malaysia’s rich culture during their one-week visit. They attended classes, working together, side by side with IUKL lecturers and students, and explored the latest advancements in civil and traffic engineering while experiencing the everyday life of a Malaysian student.
From experiencing the bustling streets of Kuala Lumpur and Malacca to bonding over shared academic interests, these students truly embraced the spirit of “Rasa Sayang.” They built bridges between cultures, created lasting friendships, and left with memories that will last a lifetime. We’re grateful for the connections made and the knowledge exchanged during this programme. As we reflect on the week, we look forward to future collaborations and friendships that will continue to grow from this experience.
