On 27 August 2024, the IUKL Civil Engineering Club (CIVEC), in collaboration with Majlis Perbandaran Port Dickson (MPPD), organised a CSR event entitled, ‘Wood & Wave 2024,’ in Port Dickson.
The event was attended by our very own Deputy Vice Chancellor of Academic and Research, Associate Professor Dr. Norhaiza, who took the time out of her busy schedule to join the staff and students in this meaningful initiative. Her presence, alongside the Head of Programme, lecturers, and Civil Engineering students, was greatly appreciated. Also in attendance were Encik Mohd Azizul Hakim bin Zaini, Secretary of Majlis Perbandaran Port Dickson; Encik Tajudin, Officer from the Landscape Department, MPPD; and Encik Azry Osman, Branch Manager of SWCorp Port Dickson, who monitored the event. Through this initiative, students acquired practical experience in caring for the environment, fostering a sense of responsibility and a deeper appreciation towards Earth. This simple initiative helps create a healthier environment for all. Well done!
